In olden days , people used to spend time and make some money or directly get their daily needs fulfilled like food , clothings and shelter.

Food , clothing and shelter was almost given free by kings or rich people and people had the option and energy enough to work as they like. Nowadays it is not so easy as even those who are rich simply do not want to give away. at the most they may start a trust or something whcih in turn may help people to get the things they require.

But here again the trust has to get some regular income or contributions , otherwise , the activities will stop.

So financing of these trusts or the rich people themselves directly is a requirement for them to help others . The better option will be for each and every person to learn how to earn some money and also save for future days so that when they are retired or grow old they can still live comfortably.

In fact if we see in practice, people who are involved or recruited for terrorism etc are those who are not able to make their basic need fulfilled.
When somebody shos them this way , they get attracted as they feel that the benefit they are getting cannot be got otherwise. They have not been able to settle in life otherwise due to different reasons. may be less education or no education , or no regular work being got etc.

What could be the remedy.

More and more enterprenuers have to come up and start giving employment. Now of course with the opening up of the economy and with outsourcing ,there is a good list of jobs available. But the thing is some minimum qualification and experience is required. Further with recession etc, there is some uncertainty in the job market.

Also the trend nowadays is to live as if today is the day to be taken care of and enjoyed and not to bother about tomorrow. SO less people plan for tomorrow. Again among those who plan for tomorrow , the options are plenty --pension fund , mutual fund, shares, post office and bank deposits, land, flat, houses etc . People have to choose the one more suited and relevant for them and it is better not to put all eggs in one basket.
