I would like my house to be thoroughly designed by an expert, an interior designer who has authority in his work. But I would also like to limit the amount decoration allowed on the walls and roof. I love white lined walls and clear ceiling tops. I would prefer at least the main wall the living area that will have my home theatre shall be wood worked. The wood work shall be light but should create a sense of aura coming out form that wall. Hence lighting of that wall hidden behind the wood work will be important. Similarly for my ceilings, I will prefer my ceilings (and walls) to be pure white. I would like to have a false ceiling with a deep brown wood work circumscribing the whole living area. The boundaries of wood work shall have provision for some diffused lighting. It will be same for my bedrooms, false ceiling, good air conditioning and wood work on roof and walls.

The available floor area of the house is crucial to make a house comfortable for prolonged living. A portion of the floor area shall open to free air. I mean a nice looking balcony; with sufficient space to occupy delicate sitting arrangement will be a luxury. A well crafted two cane chairs and a delicate glass top center table in a balcony will be liked by one and for all. The balcony should give a view to the complete city which is well lighted and look of a moving traffic. My apartment shall be on such a floor the sound of traffic is not loud, I can afford to spend few hours on weekends and blog my way through. I am a very enthusiastic blogger and would love to write in an environment like that.

Back to the living room, the living room shall have one cozy recliner seat, preferably of leather. A classy, sleek stainless steel reading lamp resting on floor and having a high neck will be required. The recliner will shall be so placed that I get the facing of the outside world in one view and my 40' LCD television in the other view. I would like to take a premature retirement from my job and will probably 50% of time on this recliner blogging and controlling my online business. The placement of my leather seated recliner will be a important decision.

The floor of the house shall be ceramic tiles. I do not like the tough of wood on the floor. Clean floors with huge whitish creamy tiles. I would like to maintain 75% visibility of white glazed floor, means either all of my decoration pieces will be on the hanging from the walls or ceiling or else I will have only small furniture's. The furniture's will be bought with care, focus will be to select only those furniture's that occupies less floor area.

Finally, extensive wood work when it comes to storage spaces. There will be only designer storage cabinets, leaving no items without its designated storage space. The same will be true for my kitchen space. My house will be custom made for my comfort and luxury.
