Biologically sweating can be a boon in disguise, but we all know that heavy sweating can make us really uncomfortable. To make the matter worse if you carry a bad body odor then sweat can be a real spoil sport. Body odor makes a person too self conscious and he may be a target of humiliation caused by his friends and colleagues. The person who has the problem of excessive sweating and bad body odor will relate to this experience and they can do any thing to get problem solved.

The objective of this discussion is to give a person suffering from this problem a small hope and a few tips following which he will be able to achieve some positive results. Guidelines to check and control excessive sweating:

Intake of spicy foods and alcohol consumption are a big trigger to sweating. Try to avoid these causes that make you sweat like a donkey. No hard feelings, any ways alcohol and spicy foods are good for nobody.

It is often observed that people sweat a lot under stress. It is very important to take the necessary rest required by your body in order to bring the heart levels to normal. Objective is to keep your blood pressure under control.

Clothes can be one tool you can use for your benefit. Avoid heavy clothes as they trap heat and make you sweat. You can wear light color clothes (ideally white) so that the heat and radiation falling onto your body gets reflected and make you cooler. Also try to avoid synthetic clothing as these clothing has the tendency to stop the air circulation. They can also trap heat and intensify the under arm sweating, hence body odor.

We sweat most in the armpits. This is one area which is the cause of major body odor. Try to use armpit shields, these will not expose your clothes to your sweat. This is one good idea to prevent your self from the humiliation of body odor.

Use of a good recommended soap can be effective to clean and rinse the problem area. You can also keep your armpit clean by keep it shaven so that the sweat is not trapped and no bacterial buildup is allowed.

People often emit strong odor from their feet. Use of good leather shoes is one simple solution. You can use shoes made up of pure leather or mesh.

Now the big question, how can antiperspirants help is reduce body odor? If is important to note that the people with very strong body odor will have minimum benefits from antiperspirants. But people with mild sweating problems, for them antiperspirants can prove very useful.

Keep your basics right. As your mom told you long back, take a good shower two times a day, one in the morning and another is the evening after long days work. Try to use a shower gel and a scrubber to apply and scrub your body. Shower gels can prove to be a boon in disguise. Always avoid standing in direct sun light. You can also use talcum power under your arm pits to cut swat.
