Everyday life is seen by people in different ways. for some it is very arduous. for some it is very boring. fr some it is adventurous. everyone in some time or other in their life would have felt the loss of ideas for action.or simply not clear as to how to proceed with a situation. Here is my experience of handling such situations

Silence. We have seen this word in libraries , hospitals for example.

Why it is required ?

Why can't a hospital be like a market place with each one throwing a tantrum around. or for that matter , the library be a discussion place , with a group of students sometimes venturing into the library together and they may like to share their ideas or understanding.

The reason is when you are reading alone people may have different ways of doing it. some people listen to radio, some keep even television on , and some may be putting on the ipod music and study or read simultaneously . But a majority of the people read in silence . why because , that way the concentration of the mind can be better.

Similarly in a hospital , when somebody is recuperating , he or she would like to be left in peace so that as and when they want they can break the silence.

Now the question is what this discussion has to do with daily life.

For example, you are in a situation , where somebody is simply finding fault with you and provoking you. two options are there. one is we can restart and take the augment further which , if the other person is reasonable, will culminate in a conducive manner. The better option is to maintain silence and listen him out fully and keep the reply for a time later when the mood is sober.

This can be applicable in in office, in a school, in the home or in the street or in a bus. Anywhere where the provocation can cause damages and we are not sure of the way things may take shape, silence is the best remedy or solution.

This may even be between thick friends , as they may be used to mock at each other and in general may take it in their stride.

But wherever the situation is trying to get out of control , particularly in arguments , silence even for a short period can be a very good remedy.
