Sports is an age old activity which has become a part of our life. There are varied sports from the simple wakathalon to the marathon. Two angles in which we can approach this subject are the competition angle and the individual angle. Let us see more of the individual angle. Competition is the talk of the day and like any other field there is a tough competition in the field of sports also from selection to the team to winning a match. As said above , let us see how sports can play a role in the individual's day to day life both in terms of spending time and maintaining health. walking is the best sports activity which any age group person can undertake. we can also have flexible distance and time as per convenience. However it is preferable to do walking early morning when the air is fresh. The second activity is jogging. This again is done early in the morning and depending on the person the speed and distance can be decided. Then the third activity is swimming . This of course requires specific timing as per availability of the pool. If we are fortunate to be near a small river or pond , then without much restriction of time limit we can carry out the activity. However if we have to go the swimming pool , particularly in a metro , then we may have to take the distance from home, the time taken and availability of space for us before embarking upon the venture every day or a few days in a week. Then the other activity one can perform in the house itself is march past , drill, yoga etc . Of course it is better t always take some guidance particularly for yoga etc , so that we can exert ourselves carefully only to shed weight and gain health and not to trouble our body by unwanted exertions.
