One of the most common skin diseases is the ringworm. It is a skin infection that you can get through direct contact from someone who is already infected by it. It infects the skin and the scalp. It can expand deep into the skin layer and can grow into patches that can cause discomfort. Fortunately, there are now many home remedies that can help treat this infection. You can avail of these remedies in the comforts of your home. One of the most common treatments is by using papaya cuts and directly rubbing these to the ringworm. The papaya seeds are also useful as you can grind them and make it into a paste and apply it to the infected skin area. You can also do the same grinding process and make a paste out of mustard seeds and apply this paste to the ringworm. This remedy is also good to reduce the appearance of ringworm patches on the skin. Another effective treatment is by smashing the seeds of an herb known as Butea, then combining it with enough lime juice to make a mixture which can be massaged to the infected area. You can also make use of Cassia leaves by grinding the leaves to form some juice then applying it directly to the ringworm. You can also make some juice from some basil leaves or you can extract the juice from turmeric by grinding these leaves to come up with enough juices to be applied to the infected skin area. The coconut oil is an effective treatment because it has healing properties against skin infections like the ringworm. Another good herb which contains healing properties is the tea tree oil. You can use it as massage oil to your ringworm. If you have sensations of scratching and irritation on your skin caused by the ringworm, then you can apply some sulphur to the surrounding infected area to help reduce this. There are vegetables juices that can help prevent the spread of ringworm. You can make vegetable juice out of spinach and carrots combined. You can make about 300ml of carrot juice then combine this with about 200 ml of spinach juice to make a combined mixture of about 500 ml. You can drink this to clean your body of toxins and wastes that may cause skin infections. A fruit diet would be good for you if you are already having the symptoms of ringworm infection. You can have a fruit diet for about 5 days by consuming concentrated juices from fruits like apples, papayas, and pineapple. This fruit diet can successfully help the body get rid of wastes and helps cleanse your body systems of toxins. Then you can add steamed, blanched and fresh uncooked vegetables to your diet, and then gradually include milk, too. Make good habits to you always maintain clean personal hygiene for yourself. Don't make it a habit to borrow other people's belongings because you'll never know what germs you can get from using them. Take good care of your skin by cleansing it properly and applying moisturizer to keep it from getting dry. Make sure to eat a well-balanced diet to keep your body fit and healthy. Keep your home environment clean to avoid bacteria and germs from spreading around. If your ringworm still persists to no avail despite of using these home remedies, then perhaps, it is time to seek appropriate medical advice from your doctor to treat it permanently.
