Baldness is one problem of our society which has plagued people since ages. Our scalp hair is a major source of beauty and attraction since human evolution. A well kept, clean, healthy and shiny hair can do miracles on your over all personality. Women are very particular (more than men) in managing their hair. Women are marked with long and lustrous hair running all over from the head to their back. In Asia the fashion and tradition of long hair is very famous. But irrespective of what every culture you belong, one thing is common in managing hairs, and it is to make hairs healthy & shiny.
Today we would discuss few key factors essential in hair management. Objective of this discussion will be on actions to be taken to prevent baldness:

Step-1, Opening of hair follicles
Our hair and scalp is exposed to outside atmosphere of heat, UV rays, dust and pollution. These affect your hair for sure but they also block your hair follicles (root of hair). Dust with moisture (sweat) settles down on your scalp, which gradually blocks your hair follicles and make your hear weak. The ultimate result is loss of hair. Use of hydrotherapy is extremely useful. The process is very simple, take a clean towel and drench it in boiled water. Apply this hot towel on your head. The steam & heat will allow the hair follicles to open and unblock.

Step-2, Cleaning of hair, scalp and unblocked follicles
After you have used hydrotherapy to unblock your follicles, you must use a suitable shampoo for cleaning the unwanted residual matters. If your hair is dry, you must be carrying dandruff on your scalp. One must use a mild shampoo with Aloe Vera content. Shampooing and conditioning are two activities that must be done in unison. Shampooing cleans your hair and scaly but conditioning gives an added advantage of moisturizing the hair and giving it a shiny appearance. After you have shampooed your hair, remove extra water from your hair by use of a dry clothe. Then try to untangle the wet hair (very gently) and apply the conditioner throughout the length of your hair. Let the hair soak the conditioner for two minutes. Finally you can rinse of the conditioner with running water (hot water if possible).

Step-3, Prevention of dryness in hair by keeping it moisturized.
This is particularly true if your scalp is dry. We scalp people are less exposed to the problems of dry hair. The main purpose of hair oil to keep the scalp moisturized so that development of dandruff is reduced. Hair also gives a temporary shiny luster to the hair. A shampooed hair increases in volume. A voluminous hair with careful oiling looks incredibly beautiful. Good ayurvedic oil may also add nutrition to the scalp resulting in healthy hair.

Use of excess alcohol, cigarettes and caffeine also triggers balding. Be very careful in consuming any of these harmful foods. If you are starving for good hair then let your stomach starve alcohol, cigarettes etc for rest of their lives.
