Woman's Eye Liner - Types and TipsBY: Eve | Category: Others | Post Date: 2009-11-26
If you want to emphasize your eyes more then you can rely on eye liner to do the job for you.The eye liner is part of the make up kit that every woman must have as part of her beauty regimen. There are different eye liners you can choose from and you must learn to properly apply them to your eyes. The most common type of eye liner is the pencil eye liner. This is the most convenient one to use on your eyes. It is similar to your ordinary pencil and comes with an eye liner sharpener to keep it ready anytime. Sometimes, the pencil eye liner may also come in tubes that don't need any sharpening anymore. It may come in various textures and colors. The most common texture is matte because it does not smear on the eyes too much. Hold the eye liner pencil with your right hand and have a big mirror in front of you. With slight pressure, start with your upper lid and draw a line from the inner corner going to the outer corner of your lid. Stay as close as possible to the natural line of the lid when you apply the eye liner. For the lower lid, do it from the outside corner leading to the inner corner. Smudge out excess liner by using a small tissue to dab around your eyes. You can also use the bottled type eye liner. This is a liquid eye liner that uses a brush to apply to your eyes. With a steady hand, you can just apply it following the natural line of your lids and lashes. This type of liner doesn't easily smudge and it is waterproof. It comes in many colors. You can use this if you're not in a hurry because applying it takes a little longer time. The cream or gel type of eyeliner is one of the newest innovations of make up. You can apply this to your eyes by using an angled brush. Gel and cream eyeliners are also gentle to your eyes when used. These are also easy to carry around like the pencil eye liner. Then you have the glitter eyeliner. If you want to have a funky and chic look, then this can do the trick! You can directly apply them on and have the shimmery and glittery look at once. This is great for evening wear! As additional tips to make your eyes more attractive and emphasized, try to match it with the color of your eyes and eye shadow. That would give you an elegant and classy look. If you are undecided about the color of your eyeliner, opt for the black eyeliner. Black eyeliner gives the dramatic look to your eyes and it never fails to do so. You can use it any time of the day and it goes well with all outfits. So use eyeliner as part of your make up. Try it and you won't be sorry. I did and I am not sorry that I did it. In fact, it got me good compliments!
