It's a well said saying that a steady and quite mind can conquer the world but nothing can conquer a steady & quite mind. A quite and steady mind is like a sports car with Michael Schumacher behind the wheels. The car can be driven with drift, speed, brake, acceleration and fun. The car takes the path you want it to take. A calm mind is exactly the same. A cam mind is nothing but a mind with a careful driver, a mind which knows its strength and weaknesses.

Mind without a driver is like a car with GPS under automatic driving mode. Automatic driven cars is very poor in reading information of GPS because it's difficult for the automatic driver to analyze so much information fed by GPS to the car. Similarly, our world keeps feeding numerous information's to our mind, each second. Some information is useful some are not so important. To make a meaning out of these information's, your mind need to analyze it. For analyzing, your mind shall be at peace and fertile enough to seed the information's. Suppose you are stuck in a heavy traffic, the immediate reaction of mind is to shout, but a calm mind knows how to tackle the situation. Try to switch on your best music, it will cal your mind. Traffic is a problem that you and me are part of, we contribute to the traffic. Be a disciplined driver and expect ‘others' to make mistakes or else be prepared for some one else to make a mistake. If every one starts thinking like this, 90% of road rage can be solved. But we do not have a stable and quite head on top us.

The biggest problem of agitated mind is its inability to analyze the situation. We all know that talking loud, getting angry are all wrong things. But when you get agitated this reasoning is no longer valid. You shout and in turn hurt yourself the most. Hypertension is a result of our uncontrolled mind. So the question is how to calm our mind? The answer is very simple and the golden word is ‘Focus your mind'. Focus your mind on the goal of your life. Not many people in this world have a clear goal in their life. They are running a marathon without a destination. Give yourself few weeks, think what you want to achieve in life, your ‘goal'; and what is the ‘route' to get there. If you have the answer to these two words (Goals and Route), your half battle is won.

With the answer of your goal of life and knowing the route to reach your goal you will find that no other thing seems to disturb you in life. It's like an engineering student focusing on engineering rather thinking about medicine. Build your focus on your ‘goal' and ‘route'; and everything will fall in place.

So returning back from where we started, a steady and calm mind can conquer the world. To make your mind steady and quite you need to focus on your ultimate goal and route to achieve your goal. Take care
