Sleep is a period of the time in a day when we relax ourselves physically as well as mentally . it also serves as a time for our subconscious mind to do the defragmentation and cleanup necessary for a better startup next day.

The sleep pattern varies from person to person . some sleep early and get up early, some sleep late and get up early and for some sleep is the maximum time consuming work.

Also with the call center culture coming, people are getting used to working on other country daytime so that in their country when others work they sleep and sleep when others work.

IN this situation since there is an adjustment required from their earlier routine , before they joined work , they may find it difficult initially atleast to adjust to sleep pattern . OF course once the biological clock can synchronize with this changed timing and if the timing is at least fixed, though different form the natural clock, they may get adjusted.

The next is about those who do not get sleep for different reasons. for some work is their partner , so much so , that when they lie down , the body and mind take ample time to settle down , so that before they actually get to good sleep , it may be time for them to wake up.

Other category is those who cannot forget thinking of the day's happenings or future worries and tend to brood over and thereby not able to get sleep .The best remedy is write or to down all your problems or negative thoughts coming to the mind and tell the brain that tomorrow we will work to solve the issues. Another way is to pray some selected word which is convenient to pronounce and slowly repeat it in the mind without being harsh tto yourself. The more soft and calm you are to yourself and your thoughts and actions, the better you will be able to get sleep.

Another remedy is to try and use warm milk , eat well before sleeping so that food would have been digested by then , drink less water some time before sleeping so that for natural calls we need not get up in between.

Also the sleeping posture also could be properly chosen. One is to sleep on the left side. Then the other thing is to avoid sleeping using one's hand as pillows as blood flow may be affected and the body may disturb to change the position of the hand.
