While some people intentionally miss out the dissemination of social security information, social security is something that needs immediate attention. For some people, the whole idea of social security is made taboo, resulting to poverty and lack of resources due to the personal agenda of some people. Others would like to think of it as a shade of communism. Social security needs to be viewed as a fundamental right of every individual such as citizenship, suffrage, and education among others. Extreme point of views sprouted from all places, possibly caused by limited social security information. Hence, some countries are still at standstill as far as dissemination of social security information is concerned.

Conservatives took the social security concept a huge rip-off, while taking on the system as based on the cynical anticipation that people will never live long enough to use it. The retirement age required by system of social security is 65. Of course in 1935, when the system was brought into being, people usually wouldn't live that long. Yet there were many people who lived up to their 30s or could actually take advantage of the system surviving until their 80s, considering that 60 is the average age at that time. It's clear to see that what the Conservatives are trying to impart is that it might not be reasonable to apply for Social Security for someone who may not live long enough to enjoy its benefits. Average life expectancy today, however, is about 75 in most advanced countries. If more people have an idea on social security information, they might dismiss such as claims of fraud right at the very start.

Some local papers has made available of the social security information, like how it begin to have shortages as far money is concerned. The social security information system mails more than 50 million checks every year, but only less than half a million makes it across the boarder. It takes 10 years of hard work in the US for a foreigner to be enrolled in the system and claim his checks. One shortcoming of the social security is actually the difficulty to become eligible for people who really need help. Social Security only started as a benefit for retired people who worked all their lives to give something back to their families. That's how it started. Over the years however, the government made eligible, through a series of amendments, anyone with a disability and provided health care for people past retirement age. Now there's even a supplemental security income system for all the people in society considered vulnerable! Who's not claiming his checks anymore? How can we pay the ones who are incapacitated to work with such a large part of society already covered?

Take Sweden for instance, a country with an excellent welfare system which Republicans and Conservatives in general would call socialist, very keen in providing clear social security information. Sweden has funded programs for pretty much everything from schools specifically for foreigners to financial help for single mothers. The Swedish government has an enormous pile of debt that they would need help from Finland for three whole years to break the surface. Another example from Europe could be Germany, where an excellent welfare system is backed up by the second exporting market in the world, second only to China.

As noted, the issues on social security information are rooted in the ground and are still growing continuously. At the very least, in any discussion on the matter, we would expect someone would provide real social security information which is not tinged by political or ideological prejudice.
