A Great Book About Economics For Home Based BusinessesBY: Charles Fisher | Category: Others | Submitted: 2011-06-25 15:38:31
For anyone looking to start their own business, especially those looking to start a home based business, there is a great book I highly suggest reading. In part this book helped me to gather the motivation to start SmartGDI. The book is titled "The Next Millionaires" by Paul Zane Pilzer. He talks about how a lot of the next millionaires are going to be the home-based business entrepreneurs and I think he really hits the nail on the head, bringing up so many good points about how we can use the common resources that are out there for us all to use in order to achieve our goals. One part, in particular, I really liked was the section on Economic Alchemy, which consists of six laws. The six laws of economic alchemy. He talks a lot about how the innovation of new technology and how you use it will play key roles in helping to determine your wealth. He also talks about how your skills to adapt or to learn new things will also help to set you apart. A lot of what he says in the book is very inspirational. For me, he made me start to think more about how I can best utilize what is around me and how I can innovate new ideas. To be able to look at something and think how can I do that, but in a better way? How can I utilize technology to make it better? I feel the concepts he speaks of applied to what I did. I utilized technology. Technology, in this case would be the automated rotator system (the Cash Couch) idea I had. I put in time and effort to turn the idea into reality. I decided to think outside the box. To look for a way to improve something. A system that works, automatically! I can be off on vacation, and my system will ensure people are put into the next best position in the downline. I'm barely scratching the surface with many of the great topics he covers. It's a great read. It will keep you wanting to read more. I never thought I would ever read a book about economics and actually like it. He makes economics a fun topic to read about. So I highly suggest getting your hands on this book and reading it through.
