Having a perfect dress is not enough; you must go for the right accessories to compliment your style. A woman attending a party, holding a college bag would definitely look funny. So, don't underestimate the importance of having a perfect handbag since you might not be aware but people, especially other females attending a gathering are noticing each and everything of yours. So, envy them with your killing looks which will only be complete once you are having all the right accessories. Before deciding on which handbag to go for, you must decide whether you need the bag for regular use or for any special occasion, since you can't have a single bag for both purposes. Don't think any of these selections as less important, they are equally important. Choosing the Right Handbag for Regular Use Following are a few tips to consider while choosing a handbag for regular use: • If you are shopping for a regular use handbag, review once the dresses you wear normally. Do you wear jeans and t-shirts or you wear skirt blouses? Choose a handbag which you find most suitable according to your usual dressing. • Decide if you want to buy the handbag for office use or out-of-office use as this can affect your bag choice. • Keep in view the general items you prefer carrying with you all the time and choose handbag size accordingly. For example, some women prefer having a makeup kit with them all the time, whereas some don't. Likewise, see if you need to carry baby items (for mothers) with you since it could also affect you handbag choice. • For regular use handbags, choose a color that can easily go with most of your outfits; choose according to the colors of clothes you usually wear, bright or light? Choosing the Right Handbag for Special Occasion While choosing a handbag for a special occasion, you must decide first whether you want that handbag to go specifically with the outfit you will wear that day or you want to have a handbag which you can use with other outfits too. To increase handbag's utility, it is better to go for a bag which you can also carry in other occasions. Following are a few tips: • Look for a handbag which goes perfectly with the style of that occasion, I mean select according to the nature of the occasion, for example, whether it is a birthday party or a formal dinner? • Look for the right handbag shape. For regular use any handbag shape may fit however, for special occasions you should carefully consider the shape of the handbag you are choosing. For tall and slim women, round shape handbags would look good, whereas, for less heightened and a bit bulky females angular bags would go well • Choosing the right handbag size is very important. For selecting the right handbag size consider the fact that large bags make you look heavier whereas smaller sizes may help look you tall. Now select a size according to your figure. Moreover, also look for the dress which you will be wearing on that occasion since it is the determining factor which handbag size you should go for. • Handbag color should be very appropriate and should go nicely with the dress to compliment your style. Mismatching colors may damage your image. Decide if you want to go for matching or contrasting colors. Other than your outfit, also consider your complexion and features while selecting a handbag color. Lighter handbag colors are good for darker complexion women and vice versa. • Choose a right handbag material will add stars to your personality. Going for cheap material will not only damage your personality but will also not last long. So select a material which can be durable for example, leather bags are more durable whereas jute bags may not last that long. Also look for the style in terms of durability for example, thick straps may hold more weight without damaging the bag and thus such bags can last long. You must not consider handbag only as a carrier of your belongings rather you should keep in view that perfect handbag will add charm to your personality. It is a fashion statement in its own and just like other fashion accessories like jewelry, scarf, shoes etc, handbags are meant to blend with your style to give it a unique touch. So always choose a perfect, stylish and trendy handbag so that you can carry it proudly wherever you go!
