In December 2, Hong Kong media quoted the words of Fan linchun, who is the Deputy Director of Working Group Office of the RMB cross-border pilot of Guangzhou Branch of the People's Bank of China. He said that Guangdong's future cross-border trade settlement in the current 2700 list will be based on the number of enterprises, added more than 5,000, and I believe that will be announced soon.

The report quoted the words of Fan linchun, Settlement of cross-border trade in Guangdong Province to Hong Kong and Macau-based business, accounting for 97% of the whole, of which Hong Kong has accounted for 95%. He also believes that the Hong Kong Shanghai Bank settlement of convertible foreign exchange trading center 8.0 billion amount, should be increased. Fan linchun said that by the end of November, Guangdong Province, the total cross-border trade settlement has been reached RMB 170 billion Yuan more than, the relevant authorities require banks to strengthen the review of whether the funds actually spent on trade, including the applicant to provide declarations, data, contracts and invoices to prove the use of funds.

This report said that RMB deposits in Hong Kong about 2000 billion, accounting for the proportion of total assets less the mainland(international trade), and stressed that hot money will not affect the development of RMB business confidence in cross-border trade settlement.

The report also quoted the words of Zhu Liqiao, the Executive Director of HKMA on 2nd, RMB settlement of cross-border trade from January to October export of capital from the Mainland were 1,300 billion Yuan(wholesale products), while the Mainland and Hong Kong imported 330 billion, of which only 10 billion Yuan through the clearing bank, but also the actual trade background.

Zhu Liqiao said that the local RMB deposits have increased by 1,500 billion Yuan in the first 10 months of this year, and in which the individual deposits cover 500 million, and mostly are used for the public exchange, the rest are corporate deposit.From: china wholesale
