Let's face it, the latest style for your glasses change just as often as clothing styles do. So when you update your winter or fall wardrobe, you need to upgrade your eyewear as well. To help you choose your fashion savvy look, here are the hottest eyewear trends of the season!

Geek-Chic

Over-sized plastic Wayfarers or round glasses are a must in clear, black, brown or tortoise. Smaller versions of these designer frames, as well as rimless and semi-rimless frames, emphasize this trend in bookworm fashion. Bold colors or half-colored frames, strong brow lines or horned-rimmed details, keyhole bridges and Club-master remixes add quirky touches.

Military
This trend is carried out in eye wear through its metal details and tones. You can bring out your inner soldier by selecting eye wear with metal details. Think embossed metal temples, flat metal details and logo treatments. The offering of these frames in a taupe and muted metallic tones is a nod to the safari/modern warrior trend too. It is possible to take this trend even more literally if you think about the materials - for instance Ray-Ban offers a range of carbon fiber glasses that make them lightweight and super durable, a huge benefit if you're an active on the go person. These frames tend to be a little more conservative in style and will work nicely if you want more clean and simple look.

Gem Stones

The big trends with Gem stones are the colors. Reds, purples, violets, and deep blues. Crystal detailing on the temples allows you to take this trend literally and to its fullest extent. You can have a lot of fun with this trend. If you have a flashy pair of glasses and wear a uniform, a pair of glasses can give you an original sense of style. It's also an ideal way to add color to your wardrobe.

New Neutrals

These fashion frames are lightly hued in nearly clear blush, blue and gray tones. This trend can also be viewed when reflected in frames that are fully transparent while others will see this trend through mesh and ombre or fade details. Any outfit in your wardrobe can be dressed up or down in these glasses and they'll match nearly everything. And do to their relative complexity, they can give you a gentler and more interesting look.
