There are many kids and adults as well that live with someone who is emotionally abusing them and they don't even know it. Now, some people say that this is circumstantial, but it has been deemed that there is such an issue as emotional abuse. What is this and how to help a person?

Many people you will find don't recognize it. They have been emotionally abused for so long that they are quite used to it. They try to cover it up by saying oh they always do that. It's their way of showing me they love me. You on the other hand as the person looking in you find that this is just stupid and no one should have to take that.

Did you know that many people who thinks something is stupid such as that and who recognizes emotional abuse will find that they don't do anything? There are very few who question why the person puts up with it. There are fewer more who actually say this is wrong. There aren't that many at all and with that in mind, there is no one there to help a person to see that this shouldn't be happening. We are so caught up in the idea that it's none of our business.

It's bad enough when it's happening to adults. Normally it's women who take this sort of abuse, however, there are some men who go through this as well. It makes a person depressed. It makes them to see themselves in a negative way and so much more. This is what it does. Men are normally the ones who do this and they do it to feel powerful. Yet, you will find that this sort of abuse like other abuses is seen to run in the family. People were emotionally abused as a child told that they are nothing or there are always negative remarks that just make a person feel like crap.

It's worse for children. Children need the encouragement and the positive words to grow. When someone is constantly talking down on them and more things like that, you can ruin a child's life. You can make them feel so darn bad about themselves that they are just withdrawn from the world. They might even start believing you. This is why there needs to be more information and more education about this so that people don't have to deal with this. When this happens, kids will feel better about themselves and be able to succeed in life. This is what we are hoping for. No one should have bad like this. If you see this happening, you should be the better person or the friend and tell them that this is wrong. A few good words to help boost their self esteem won't hurt either.
