Every time you wanted to search something on the Internet you had to first figure out the optimal words to search by. If you slightly altered that word combination or used a synonym, the search would display totally different results. This is because advanced Google search does its best to put the AdSense ads in places where they run most chances to be of help and to be accessed, taking into consideration search inquiries. Lots of people are working hard every day in order to optimize different content for search engines. The company is now coming up with an advanced Google search technology that is going to put keywords aside for the time being and focus on key imagery. The latest advanced Google search technology will be named Google Goggles and it is an application for the new Android Based Smartphone. Remember the movie Minority Report and the computer displays the characters were using? We always fantasized about three dimensional images on our computer screens where just pointing at things was enough. Advanced Google search newest technology does even more than that. It attempts to turn the entire world into a huge display. How? Easy, just by using the camera of your Smartphone. Capture on the camera whatever you want to search on Google, whether it is an object, a living person or a building. The advanced Google search will be able to identify it and provide you information about it within seconds. Imagine that pushing the camera's button is like clicking on a link every object or person has attached in order for you to find out the information you need. This concept of having things around us identified by computers is not new at all. It is called computer vision and science men have put a lot of work into developing it. They weren't successful because nowhere in this world could a database containing so much information be stored. No one and nobody could have been able to gather so much information and to keep the database updated. It was just a project that couldn't be put in practice, until Google developed this kind of database for its search engine. It was developed in more than ten years and Google used its centers all around the world. Technologies similar with the advanced Google search have been produced before. World Surfer and Wikitudefor are two examples. They relied on satellites in order to determine your location and on guessing regarding the object or person you pointed the camera at. Goggles also relies on satellites, but its technology of identifying images makes it a professional in this field. The picture you took with the camera is sent to Google centers worldwide in a matter of seconds. It is being compared with all the images in the huge database and the results are provided in no time. This rapidity comes from the fact that the image is spread all around the world and comparisons are done simultaneously. The technology is still in beta version and it is in its beginnings. Identifying people can be quite difficult as not everybody is in Google's database. However, things are different if we are talking about places or businesses. The results are far more relevant and helpful. Of course, not if we attempt to capture something so common that can be found basically everywhere, such as a McDonald's. Goggles can provide you with a lot of answer and it can make your life easier as soon as it will be on the market.
