Constipation is one of the most agonizing and excruciating pains that anyone can experience. It is more tedious and dreadful especially for young kids. The causes of this condition may be due to lack of water, a bad diet, drinking too much milk and non-practice of proper toilet habits. It may be also due to a weak stomach or some stress related factors, too. Nonetheless, there are effective constipation solutions and quick remedies to help everyone feel better. You must make sure that everybody drinks plenty of fresh water to avoid having constipation. Make sure to eat a well balanced diet of fruits and vegetables, lean meat and fish. Add more fiber to your diet. You must also have enough sleep and rest. Try to give sufficient amount of cow's milk for your kids too drink. Too much of the milk may cause constipation. With older kids, you can try giving them some soya milk. This is also nutritious but less constipating for the kids. There are also some other practical solutions which can help prevent constipation. Eating a pear after meals is good. You can also make it into a fresh juice. Bale fruit is also good and it can be taken after dinner. It is a good laxative and it cleanses the intestines. Eating it regularly results to proper elimination of waste and toxins of the body. You can also include eating of a guava a day to avoid constipation. The guava seeds help in facilitating easy bowel movements. Grapes are also good to prevent constipation since they contain substances that help in toning down constricted muscles to help relieve constipation. You may also use raisins that are soaked in water for about 48 hours in lieu of grapes. The raisins may then be eaten and you can also drink the juice. You can do this preferably early morning. Make it a good habit to eat an orange or two everyday. This aids in proper elimination of bowel movement. Eating a slice of papaya regularly helps in the prevention of constipation because it is a good laxative. Try eating more spinach because this helps clean the intestinal tract. You may as well make a juice of some spinach if you are already suffering from constipation. It is a quick reliever of constipation pains and aches. Also an effective constipation remedy is using ½ tsp of salt dissolved in warm water then adding the fresh juice of half a lime into it. Drink the mixture at once. This is also an effective way to clean the colon. You can also drink a glass of prune juice or papaya juice to relieve further constipation pains. You may also use a teaspoon of honey combined with a glass of water or milk to reduce constipation pains. Try to also dissolve a concentrated corn syrup in one tsp of water, and then take it to help aid in reducing your constipation pains. Then there are over the counter medicines which may also help. It may be better if you ask for the doctor's pre script ion to be sure you are getting the right medicine and dosage. There are natural laxatives which you can try such as Milk of Magnesia or Mineral Oil. You may also make use of Glycerin suppositories which are good to use for kids. Nevertheless, use these over the counter remedies sparingly and better exhaust the use of the natural and practical remedies for your own good.
