Home Remedy For Various Diseases

There are many diseases which we encounter in our day to day life. Most of the times, we don't prefer seeing a doctor because we only end up in medicines without any immediate cure. Following are a few home remedies for certain common diseases.

Cure for Usual Headaches, Joint Pains, Bad Breath, Tooth Pain, Stomach Problems and Acidity:

Oil pulling is identified by a Russian doctor Dr. Med. Karch as a good way to treat many common health conditions. It's done early in the morning with an empty stomach. Process is quite simple and is as follows:

1. Fill your mouth with one spoon of refined oil early in the morning with an empty stomach.
2. Pass the oil across teeth slowly and make it reach each corner of your mouth. Gargle it for 15 minutes.
3. After 15 minutes spit it out. The oil has transferred into white liquid form. After spitting, wash your mouth with warm water thoroughly.

Caution: Don't swallow the oil.

Tip: Sesame oil is best to use for oil pulling.

Anyone above 15 years of age can practice it daily to get rid of headaches, Joint Pains, Bad Breath, Tooth Pain, Stomach Problems, ulcers and Acidity. Also, for those who take too many medicines should practice it to get rid of body toxins.

Cure for Acidity:

Acidity is one of the commonest problems we face in our day to day lives. It can happen due to over eating or spicy foods. Whatever the reason may be, a quite effective home remedy for acidity is raw grains of rice.

To treat acidity take 8 to 10 uncooked/raw rice grains with water every morning before eating anything. Although you will start seeing its positive effects within a few days and acid levels in your body will be reduced significantly in 21 days however for complete cure repeat this every morning for 3 months.

Cure for Cholesterol:

Cholesterol is a very serious health condition because it brings with it many other diseases like hypertension, high BP and heart ailments. A home remedy for cholesterol is raw supari, also known as betel nut.

If you suffer from cholesterol problem take equally sliced raw supari or unflavored betel nut after every meal. Chew it for 25 to 40 minutes and spit it out. The juice in raw supari acts as blood thinner. When you take in its juice with saliva, your blood thickness will be reduced which will not only reduce your cholesterol levels but is also good for lowering high blood pressure.

Cure for Diabetes:

Black tea is good for diabetes. Boil water with tea leaves in it and drink it without milk, sugar or lemon. Black tea is good for kidneys and improve its functioning thus helps avoid any further damage to the kidneys due to diabetes.

Another cure for diabetes is lady fingers. Cut lady fingers in two halves in vertical direction. Soak it in water for the whole night and drink the water after removing lady fingers in the morning. You will see that water has become sticky which is helpful for treating diabetes.

Cure for Blood Pressure:

For those who suffer from high blood pressure, fenugreek (methi) seeds are quite helpful. To lower blood pressure to a normal level, take around 8 to 10 fenugreek seeds with water every morning before eating anything. This will lower your blood pressure.

All these above mentioned diseases are quite normal in our daily lives; therefore some common home remedies are important to tackle them. Other than the above mentioned home remedies, to help reduce the effects of these diseases you can also follow following easy tips:

• Exercise regularly: Exercising keeps you active, fit and healthy. Make a schedule for exercise, set any time of the day and exercise on that time regularly.
• Live an active life: Sluggish life makes you prone to several diseases by weakening your immune system, so never sit idle and live an active life.
• Eat healthy and balanced: Balanced diet is very important to ensure healthy living. Eat what is beneficial to your health. Don't take in much fats, calories and salt. Take every food item in moderation to supply all the required nutrients to your body.
• Make a sleeping schedule and take proper sleep: Proper sleep is very important for a healthy life. Sleep at least 6 hours a day and try to take quality sleep. Go to bed early so that you can manage to wake up early in the morning.

A healthy lifestyle ensures a sound mind and healthy body!
