Pets are great companions, so how is it possible to go for camping leaving your dog behind at home? Some people believe that when you go for hiking or camping, you should leave your dog at home, but we do not agree with this idea instead we insist you to take your dog with you for the first time because we are saying it and you will take him with you from the next time willingly, that's for sure. In this article you will come to know the benefits of taking your dog to the camping area. Physical Exercise Physical exercise is important for pets as it's important for the humans. We are unfortunately facing obesity problem and this is not only with humans, pets are also suffering from the same. The most common cause of obesity is unhealthy food and lack of exercise. So the most appropriate solution is healthy eating and regular exercise. To avoid obesity it is very important take your dog with you for a daily walk and don't forget him while going for any outing that could provide physical exercise opportunity. This will keep your dog safe from obesity and many diseases associated with it. Take your dog with you to the camping area for outdoor recreation; though you will be enjoying with your friends or family at camp area but adding your dog to this group will increase your joy and happiness in many ways. Your dog could be your companion in tracking and hiking. You can play Frisbee fetching game with your dog or even you can take your pet for swimming if there is any place to swim. These all activities will help you and your dog to come closer and at the same time burn the extra fats too. Bonding Time For those who have failed to come closer to their pets due to lack of time, taking your dog to the camping area is a wonderful opportunity to spend some time together. Other than spending some time together, having fun by playing with your pet, walking with it and enjoying the fresh air of the camp site will boost your energy level as well. Your dog will love to live with you and will love to pay heed to your orders. It can also provide a good opportunity to teach your dog new tricks. Protection Another plus point of taking your dog to the campsite is that your dog will be playing an active role in your protection. It would be a great idea if you are going for the night camp because a new and far away place could bring lots of challenges and security concerns and dogs are good at smelling danger from distance. He will not only alert you for the danger but will also fight with it to protect you. Training Opportunities If your dog is younger and needs training to learn good manners and get familiar with the social gatherings then take your pet with you to the campsite where you will find a lot of opportunities to teach your pet new things. Your friends and campsite members will also help you to teach your pet new things and no doubt your small puppy, being the small one will blow a new life in your camping. It's good to train your dog according to your style so that you will feel proud of him. Try to make your dog familiar with your voice and signals like ask him to stop, walk, run, don't eat, eat, sleep, go away, stop barking etc and associate different signals with these actions so that he can obey you whenever you ask for a certain action. Use similar signals each time so that he can get used to it and know when you are commanding for which action. So where you are keeping pet as a part of your family you should also try to involve him in the activities you perform. Try to make your pet familiar with your surroundings and create an atmosphere of love and care where your pet may also feel comfortable. Put in little efforts to teach your pet new things and give him proper time.
