If you are having suspicions about your man cheating on you, what do you think must you do? Perhaps, you must first ask yourself the question why - why he is doing it? Then, if you think it over, you may ask yourself another similar question- men do cheat, don't they? Men are polygamous by nature, hmmm., is that reason good enough? In truth there is no clear explanation or deciding factor why men cheat on their girlfriends or wives. Think reality check; men cheat for various reasons, at times these reasons may even vary from a larger range of other reasons. It may sound confusing, but in reality you can come up with some common grounds as to why men cheat. These are only some of the more common reasons why they do. Men cheat to end a relationship or to get out of one. Some men fear confrontation, they are afraid to say up front that they want an end to a relationship. They think that cheating is a convenient way to get out of a relationship. They even hope they would be caught in the act of doing it. It is just sad that some men forget that cheating can hurt and the offended person may become heart broken, suffer emotional pain and stress. Men may cheat because it is there as a convenience. Men may cheat by having one night stands, and most of the time this the most convenient way. One night stand happens because the situation is there, your man may be under the influence of alcohol in some social function and then there are the women acquaintances who may attract him and things lead to some other consequences. There are men who like one night stands because they can do so, and they believe that would be the end of that night and they can go back to their wives or girlfriends like nothing happened. Men may also cheat because they want their needs to be filled more; they may have unfulfilled desires that they think they can find from someone else who can provide and satisfy those needs. They may have strong sexual desires that you may not be able to give to them so they turn to others who are capable of doing so. But then that does not necessarily mean that the man does not love you, it's just the man wants his physical needs to be satiated. It's more of a sexual reason, other than that; the man may have a good and strong relationship at home. Some men find cheating a boost to their self-confidence. They have this thinking that they are still able to carry on an affair regardless of their age or physical appearance. It may be an issue of personal ego, as the man matures he has physical changes that makes him appear older, so he makes that decision to find out if he is still attractive to the opposite sex by choosing to cheat and have an affair. Of course he has other options of engaging into sports or other activities that offer excitement, but some men prefer to do it this way. In reality, there are men who cheat because of no apparent reason. They just do, and they don't care who gets hurt in the process. It's just because - that's it, nothing else to say or add after the word 'because'. In some other cases, men realize that a mistake has been committed because they cheated. They may be even sorry for doing that mistake. Cheating is not only for men, there are women who cheat on their partners as well. Perhaps for the same reasons, too. Nonetheless, going back to your situation of your suspicions about your man cheating on you; it would be better if you stop asking the reasons why he cheated on you in the first place. Instead, try to find out what you plan to do about your problem. Plan out what you should do about his cheating, confront him, end the relationship and move on. It all depends on you; you make the choice, stand up to your belief and be assertive that you are your own person, that you don't need a cheater to be a part of your life.....regardless whether you are a woman or man.
