Everything in our life has its own importance and it's up to the individual that which aspect of life they consider as the most important. It is individual's choice to set priorities and work accordingly. Many people have family and love as their first priority whereas some people give the prime preference and extreme importance to money. Now the question is, is it okay to consider money as the ultimate goal and destination? Is it right to give preference to money over relationships? Is money so powerful that it can even surpass the feelings and love? Barack Obama says that "Money is not the only answer, but it makes a difference." This statement has a very important message in it. It indicates towards the most important fact of life i.e. money is not the only answer to every problem but nevertheless it has the power to make a difference. So here we get the insight that if one doesn't have money he/she can still manage but if they would have it, it would definitely has made a difference! There is a need that the individual must hold a respectful attitude towards money. If they have it, its good but they must not be over-obsessed by money thoughts that they can't see any other thing in front of it. It has been observed that many individuals even don't care about their parents, kids and loved ones when it comes to make a choice between money and love. They think feelings as mere waste of time and impractical thing. This is inhumane because feelings are god-made and money is man-made. This point is enough to help you make a choice between the two. If you are one of those individuals who are over-ambitious and give over-preference to money in life then you must control your emotions towards money because if you allow it to get on your nerves you will just ruin your life. You can change your attitude towards money by changing your lifestyle a bit. Try following: Build a balanced definition of success: It is important to set certain parameters of success. You must know how you weigh success in your life. Money should be a part of this definition but not the whole focus of it. You must give reasonable consideration and place to relations and feelings as well, because just imagine if after you achieve success (which is only money) with no family members to cherish this success with, how your life would be. Avoid chronic busyness: You must keep a balance and set time for everything in your life. This is true that the world is becoming too fast and it is becoming difficult to manage time but this is no excuse to not to give time to your family and friends. To be happy you need to keep a balance between work and enjoyment. Cherish small moments as they will become your assets which you will enjoy in your old age where no money would give you peace. Don't be destination addicted: This means to make your happiness restricted to future, i.e. when you say that I will enjoy my life once I achieve my goals and get to my ultimate destination. Keep in mind, it is natural for humans that they are never satisfied and they are always in search of greater, which keep on heightening their success definition, so if you keep on waiting you will never enjoy and will wait forever. Involve others: Don't just try to perform each and everything just by yourself. Just think how things would happen in your absence, this will calm down your desire to do everything. Involve others and trust their capabilities to do things. Try the above mentioned tips and make life easy for yourself. Don't weigh happiness in terms of money and be happy still if you have less. Life is not all about money and finances; you can even enjoy your life eating plain bread if you are with your love and family. Life will look colorful only if you try to find colors in it. If you will look at the darker side and pressurize yourself too much to achieve your goals you will only find it rough and dry.
