Motivational Movies For YouBY: Deidre Dorsett | Category: Entertainment | Submitted: 2010-07-11 13:59:24
There are many motivational movies out there. They are the ones that empower you. They are the ones to make us see that hard work and more can do a world of good. So, what are a few of those movies? You would be surprised to see which ones are on our list of ones that you should watch. Rudy is one of the old school ones that we love. White boy wants to play for Notre Dame Football as this was his father's favorite team. Now, many will tell you that you shouldn't do something just for the fun of it or because you think your parents would be proud if they were watching you from their television. However, it does teach you that you have to go after your dreams and along the way you could get a break or two. Another one we would recommend watching would be Coach Carter. Living in the most poverty stricken neighborhoods they are said to be the ones who wouldn't graduate. He took these men, locked them out of the gym. What you learn from this movie is sometimes, you have to start from the top to get to where you are right now in this day and time. See how it works like that? Another one of our favorites is Lean on Me. One principal takes this school and turns it around to be one of the safest schools around. However, what we have seen each and every time we watch it is just how much one person can make a difference in the lives where someone might be missing a little something. Yet, we have another one of our favorites. This is Remember the Titans. They get together during the times of segregation. They aim to make history as a united high school. However, what we get from this movie is that you have to work together and really work together to build a bond to see things happen. That bond will withstand anything that you go through, for they are right there behind you. Then, one of our last ones that we watch over and over again is Hardball. They are kids who love the game and do well; however, no one wants to coach them. They are taught that the street is where they belong. One guy who owes money steps in to earn his money by coaching these kids. He learns that there is more than gambling out there and has since worked with these kids to be a role model and to help them achieve their goals. Now, tell me you can't see the lesson. So, if you need a movie night, then you might want to watch some of these and feel empowered as you have never been. We were empowered by these and by many others. We feel you might feel the same way too. So, see what is out there to teach you a lesson. Every day another one comes out that is inspiring and leading.
