Are you planning for camping? Well its fun but it can become a miserable experience if you are not well-equipped and don't have necessary supplies to welcome every thing camping brings with it. It is a day and night activity and therefore requires proper preparation. As you are out of your home town and also sometimes not aware of the surroundings (if your camp location is new), therefore it is important to plan everything properly so as not to end up having bad moods. This article will share with you the items which you must not forget while going for camping so as to make your camp experience unforgettable: Important Camping Supplies: Camping is a fun activity both for families and friends, but to have a wonderful camp adventure preparation is a must. Following are a few necessary camp items which you must not forget so as to make your experience truly remarkable: Tent: Without a tent there is no place to stay unless you decide to rest right under the stars. So make sure you have all the required items to have a proper camp - the poles, fly, fabric and stakes. Moreover if your tent is not in use for past six months it is recommended to check it before leaving your home for camping so that if it needs a bit mending you can do it right there. Don't forget to compare the tent size with the camp location and the nearby tents. Flashlights or Camping Lanterns: A very important item for camping! You will need flashlights while walking and exploring different areas and lantern while having dinner or playing games etc, as lanterns can stand on their own. So don't forget to take these with you; moreover take few extra batteries too. Sleeping Accessories: Don't forget to take your sleeping bag with you otherwise you have to enjoy hard ground's sleep. If you have kids with you take one extra. Air Mattress: For your kids you should take something comfortable to sleep on. So take some sleeping mats or air mattresses with you. It's better to check the mattress for air leakage beforehand. Bug Repellent: You will find many bugs and mosquitoes on your trip so to have a comfortable night you must not forget bug repellent to keep the bugs away. Bottled water and non-perishable food items: You might not be ready to cook as soon as you reach the camp site; also it is might be possible that your camp site doesn't have natural flowing water. So take bottled water for cooking and cleaning and non-perishable food items like canned soups or chili etc to feed yourself while you are away from your camp and cooking facility there. Campfire Items: Don't forget to take match sticks, firewood and newspaper etc to enjoy the most exciting part of camping - campfire! Camping clothes: Take at least one pair of clothes to tackle all weather conditions. It could be rain, storm, sun or snow. Depending upon your stay length decide your camp clothes and take with you full-jeans, half and full-sleeves shirts, close-toe shoes, rain jackets, socks and all the clothing items you think would be needed to face unexpected weather. Eating Utensils: Plates, bowls, spoons, pan and pots, grills etc! Just think of all the kitchen-ware that you might need during camping. Don't forget to take a dish soap bar and a tub to clean the utensils for re-use. Toiletries: Don't forget to take your toiletries with you still if your camp site does have toilets and all the required accessories. Take soap, toilet roll, tooth brush, tooth paste, hand sanitizer, sun screen cream, and any other toiletry you feel you will need during your trip. First-Aid Kit: It is important to have it handy because any accident could happen suddenly. Small cuts and scars are common gifts of camping so be ready to tackle that with your first-aid kit. Be hygienic and use clean water and bandages. Books and Games: Books and games not only add to fun but also provide you an opportunity to stay from computer games for a while.
