Jeez. H. Christ. She's got to be the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen. And she just walked out of my "office". No, don't misunderstand, even though I'd marry her tomorrow, there's nothing more than a sort of friendship going on between us. I occasionally call her, we occasionally meet, we once went for a midnight ride in a convertible and that's about it. No s*x, no kinky stuff, no nothing. But you see, it would nearly spoil the whole thing. S*x, I mean. But let's not digress. The reason why I mentioned her is. Well, let's begin from the beginning. Today I received an e-mail which included two pictures. High def. pictures from an old photo-shoot involving me, a colleague, two cars and two girls. One of the cars was a Lambo. The Gallardo Spyder to be precise. It is unique. So, whilst looking at the picture my mind drifted away to this woman I was talking about. She's a woman just like other women, only better. More poised, more interesting, smarter, brighter. She's just something else. Something above the rest. So above in fact you can't even make a comparison. If I were to liken my friend to metals, she's gold, all other women are copper. Well, it's the same with the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. It has four wheels, some seats, a steering wheel, an engine and a gearbox so in all respects it is undoubtedly a car. Yet, it is not. It's somewhat better. A lot better. It is a show stopper, people hear you before they can see you and they stop and they stare. Men love and envy, women love and desire...to get access to the Lambo owner's credit card. It is a magnificent piece of design. Ferraris are beautiful, Porsches are stunning but the Lambo has a presence that other cars, no matter how posh they are, just don't have. Then there are all its flaws. It is rather brutal, you can't see where you're going, or where you're coming from, or what's on your left or right side, it doesn't have a proper boot, no rear seats and it devours fuel in such a ferocious and covetous way that you need to service it every 200 yards. Yet, despite all this, it is splendid. The noise is fantastic, it roars like a drunken lion, it's faster than light and it's so much fun to drive. I love it. I love the fact that you can have orange seats, I loved the blue seats on the one I drove as well. I love the fact that it is too fast for real life driving, too bulky and big for the city streets, useless in the rain and snow and unless you're the Sultan of Brunei, even if you could afford one, you'd be amazed by how much money go to waste on petrol. Just like my blue eyed friend, though, the Lambo is special, and it'll leave you speechless every single time.
