There is a whole new way to kid shows these days. What used to be a big purple dinosaur that sang a cheesy song or these things called Teletubbies that no one quite understood has turned into so much more. What are some of those shows that kids love today? Well, lets take a look at some of them. You have Dora the Explorer. They get to go on an adventure with Dora and Boots. Who can resist Swiper? They can count with Dora and learn how to read a map as well. The best part is that while they are learning to mix and match things as well as learning to count, they are learning a bit of Spanish which is nice to always know. Dora is pretty amazing. Then you have Blues Clues. You have your notebook and your crayon. Blue is trying to solve the clue and you can help him. Here you learn a lot of things like telling time and so much more. What else do you need when it comes to fun and keeping your child entertained? That's what we want to know. However, nothing can ever replace Sesame Street. Though it's not quite the same as how you and I remember it as the loveable Cookie Monster is now the veggie monster to promote good eating habits. Yet, they still teach one two threes and the alphabet. Then you have some pretty cute characters who teach more things to kids. Zaboomafu is another one that many kids like. They teach you about the animals that you might not think about. Their main thing is educating kids about these animals including those that are going extinct. This can teach kids about how animals are a part of our society and that we have to take care of them in order to keep their kind around. Reading between the Lions is one that many parents love. It's so hard to get kids to read but like Reading Rainbow, this show is all about reading literacy. It's more along the lines of Wishbone than Reading Rainbow. Here they will learn how to pronounce words and how to form words and all that fun stuff. As you can see, there are quite a few shows that can teach your child something. Some of them are just way out there, but they are fun and entertaining. A lot of them are including ways to get kids interactive with the web and so much more. It's a new day and age in the world that our kids live in. it's time to cater to those times.
