Are you one of those women who always have trouble telling if a guy is interested? Do you think you need to meet a few times, have some conversation before you can start gauging his feelings? You are losing a lot of chances. There are plenty of obvious tell tale signs you can spot on a guy in the first 15 minutes of meeting them for the first time. He Notices You He gives you that flash of the eye. You will see his eyebrows raise, his eyes open a little wider, making them brighter, big and inviting. It is a quick, involuntary gesture, sometimes he himself will not be aware of it but if you catch such there is no denying it. If he sees you and feels the attraction, you will also notice his lips parting slightly, his nose flaring and a general openness in his whole face. He Faces You He may be facing his friends but when he has seen you and is interested, his torso will be facing your direction. Other things to pay attention to are his feet, they'll be pointing at you too if he likes you. He Stands Close The number here is about two feet or better yet, an arm's length. If he's keeping himself out of your reach it is a sure sign he has no interest. If he is standing close though, he is open to your touch and actually looking forward to it. If he is sitting down, you can tell he is interested if he perches on his seat to lean closer to you. He Mirrors Your Movements This is usually done without him even realizing it. These gestures may first look like mocking but he is really not. It is in fact, the surest sign he is interested by showing how much he wants to be on the same page as you, so to speak. He Has His Eyes on You When he is interested, he keeps his eyes on you and makes a lot of eye contact. When he is talking to you, his eyebrows are slightly raised because he finds what you say to be fascinating. He Grooms Himself He messes up his hair, or alternatively, smooth it down. He straighten his tie or smooth the lapels of his jacket. These are all the unconscious gestures of wanting to look his best in front of you. When he smooths his hair when he comes up to you, it usually means he is nervous. If you are also attracted, it is a good idea to compliment him on his hair. He Touches Himself This does not sound all that PG but innocent gestures are what we mean here. He rubs his chin, strokes his cheek and touches his ears. Lips and mouth are especially sensitive when you are in the presence of someone you are attracted to and your hands will automatically go there to touch because it feels good. He Stands Apart A sure giveaway that he is attracted to you is that he stands a little apart from the group he is with after he notices you. He wants you to see him as an individual as well as someone accessible. He Stands at Attention Everything will be straight and er, erect. He will basically put himself on display. Hands on hips, he will be standing right in front of you, legs apart, the hands more than likely keeping his blazer or jacket open. He Licks His Lips Just like the animals in the wild lick their lips in anticipation of something the desire, human beings do the same. This is usually coupled with nervousness which causes the mouth to become dry. He Gives You a Big, Big Smile A large, toothy grin means he is really into you and is totally smitten. If he automatically slouched his shoulders after you say something, he's got it bad. The shoulder slouch is really his attempt to stop himself from hugging you because what you just said is extremely cute to him. He Does a Lot of Gesturing When he uses his hands to elaborate on things when he speaks with you, it shows he is really into the conversation and he is trying to impress you. He is also trying to keep himself from touching you too much. He Looks for Reasons to Touch You He taps your hand to get your attention, he leans a hand on you when he laughs out loud at your joke, he reaches out to brush your hair away from your eye. These are all excuses because all he wants is to touch you and he is looking to see if you have any objections.
