There is a great difference between pre and post pregnancy figure. This is a fact that during pregnancy women put on mass on their bodies and it takes time to lose that. If you don't try to lose that mass it could remain there forever. However, it is not recommended that you start exercising soon after you get free from delivery. But if you still want to get rid of your body's mass at the very initial stage of post-pregnancy period then you should first consult your doctor. If your physician advice, you can go for a light exercise otherwise don't take risk because by doing this you might put your health on risk. Remember don't go for fast weight loss diet and exercise soon after delivery because it could be dangerous instead you should take a balance diet to help your body stay healthy. It is important to give proper time to your body to heal before undergoing any weight loss activities.

Tips to Lose Weight after Pregnancy

Healthy Eating Habits:

If you are breastfeeding your child then you must take many small meals in a day which must include fruits because fruits are nutritious and at the same time they make you feel fuller and you eat less food then. Proper nutrition is very essential for you because whatever you will eat will go to your baby via your milk. Moreover, having small meals in a day is a source of increased metabolism in your body which is very helpful in weight loss process.

After pregnancy you should avoid junk as well as processed foods, instead eat fresh fruits & vegetables including grains and low fat dairy products as much as possible. Low-fat dairy products like skim milk, butter (cholesterol free) and yogurt can help you control your weight naturally. But remember during the first three months of your post pregnancy period don't go for too intensive exercises, you can only take light walk and some other light exercises which doesn't involve too much stretching and jumping. Take as much water as you can and drink one glass of water before meal so that you can overcome over-eating which will cause weight gain. Researches show that it takes twenty minutes for your mind to give signal to your body that now you are full, so it is recommended to eat slowly and give your daily meals at least 20 minutes so that you can figure out when you are actually full instead of feeling hungry even after that.

Exercises for Post Pregnant Women

When you feel that now you are completely healthy start with slow and light exercises. Use stairs instead of elevator, park you vehicle little away from your destination so that you can walk for a few steps, it is also recommended to take your kid for a short walk in stroller so as to prepare your body for hard exercises after the long break of pregnancy period.

After you think your body has started responding to the new pattern increase the walk distance and speed. You can now go for jogging as well. Other cardio exercises are good to start with like swimming, dancing etc but start with light version every time you are doing it for first time after delivery.

Be Confident that you can do it!

Watch out for your attitude, it must be positive. If you believe that you can, you will. Be confident that you can attain what you want. Don't let your changed lifestyle make you too busy that you can't manage time for yourself.

Remember don't compare yourself with any other lady who have achieved very fast weight loss after delivery, this will only cause you put your energies in extra weight loss activities to attain the same results which could harm your body. Keep in mind that everybody is different from the other thus time to reduce weight also varies. Stressing too hard could be dangerous, so be patient and concentrate on your own efforts, you can not take her place and she cannot exchange your body so accept it as it. Stick to your diet and exercise plan. While doing exercises and diet you must have to keep in touch with your physician for better results and you can be safe from any misfortune.
