There are many who have tattoos. They love them. Right now, they are probably thinking about the next tattoo that they would love to get. In many instances you might find that there are times when you will come across a person who has a ton of them. While some think they are really cool, there are others who think they are the work of Satan. Here is the debate that many have.

Those who know the corporate America world and the hardships of getting any work, they will say that anyone who gets a tattoo is a fool. You have to hide them so you really can't be proud of them at all. Then they say that even if you try to hid them sometimes, you will find that in many cases, there are some of you who will find that the shirt rides up or so forth.

There are others who look at the health issues that are involved. The ink isn't good for the blood stream and could kill you. It kills the skin in a way. On top of that, you will also find that in many cases, it could cause you an illness if the needle isn't clean.

Another thing is that many say that people with tattoos are weird looking. It's like they don't value your body. Some Christians say that they are marking the body that God gave them and should be ashamed of themselves. Everyone ridicules them and say that they are freaks. They think they are dangerous and expect the worse of them. God forbid they come into your home or elsewhere. You think that they are corrupting children as well. Yet, there is another side to this.

There are those who feel that tattoos are cool. It's like a collection that they can carry with them. When you have this, you can show people what you believe in. Many find that it's a form of self identity. This is what it does to a person. The person that has a tattoo can be the nicest person. Other people judge them and you will find that many of them grow an attitude of I don't' care what you think. They grow to really get annoyed by those who judge. It's their right to get tattoos.

The debate will always be there. There will always be those that hate them as well as those who love them. That is the way it works. You just have to decide if you are going to take those words to heart or not. People will always be talking if you go about and get yourself tattoos. Who's right? No one really knows. Everyone thinks that they are right, however, in any case, it comes right down to what you feel is or isn't right. The choice has to be yours.

Tattoos are an art form, fact. The people who become tattoo artists are often trained in art schools, often to the same art aesthetic as other students who might become sculpturists or painters. The talk of progression of mankind is an intellectual one, the idea of running out of skin is a real possibility to the true tattoo aficianado, yet as someone who has no tattoos wrote this poor article it is no wonder that no one cares. If people actually believe that tattoos are the mark of the devil then they are ridiculously stupid. The devil is a construct of the catholic church, something that has mis-led and exploited the labouring classes across the globe for centuries. Religion is a method of control, and anyone still held under the oppressive fist of historical morality has my sympathy. Man is free to do as he wishes, there is no moral code to life apart from what comes from within, man knows right from wrong, we are born with the faculty to distinguish the two. Any publication that attempts to influence this faculty has to be therefore evil. The quuran, the bible, its all something to wipe your proverbial arse with. Complete nonsense that keeps the rich on top and the working class receptive. Take the deleted verse of "all things bright and beautiful", then you may get my point. Learning is the route for enlightenment, science the path of progression. Tattoos are simply a new aesthetic in art. Dan 2011-04-04 17:34:23 105
I believe that the freedom of getting a tattoo is more about personal taste than a belief in this day of age. I also believe that people that can't accept them are victims of a brainwashed past, without the luxury of having a more open mind, or people just putting on a front. I have no tattoos, and I haven't seen very many on people that I would have on my body, or really liked that much. However, I think it is a personal choice. If you take that away, people will start taking other rights away. Humans.. the only species that deliberately takes away rights from their own kind just for their own cover and convenience. There are vices that are so much worse. And a tattoo fetish has it's limit. You can run out of space on your skin. And real fast if that's what you want. Joseph Odle - Author 2010-12-22 14:04:42 80
Do you believe graffiti is art or a blight? Your answer will probably reveal which side of the great tattoo debate you come down on. Windbreaker 2010-11-02 19:06:08 65
