When you look at your mother, what do you see? There are many who see as the housekeeper or more. However, there are some things that kids look to their mother in order to learn. Let's look at a few of those.

When you look to your mom, many daughters look at the style of dressing. If you see a mother who values her looks and dresses in a nice manner, you learn to do the same. They learn to appreciate their body more and will dress in a manner that says that I value the way I look. They begin to be comfortable with the way they are and they won't be so inclined to change the way they look. You are that positive role model that shows them the opposite of what the media shows them.

Another thing for girls is that they learn about the changes that will happen with their body. They look to their mothers for guidance as this can be a pretty rough time. It can be something that many girls don't know what to do about.

The last thing they learn, they learn to raise their kids. They might not agree with everything you believe in, but you learn that. You learn with them that they might have different views to you than what you believe in.

Men learn how to be fathers. They learn what women need from you and in return, they look at how that relationship is and say this is what love is supposed to be like. There are many kids without a father. Just as much, there are many kids without a mother. They have to learn these things somewhere.

Men tend to learn the things women will go through that they will be with. You might not talk about those things with your boys but they know. They know that you might get moody at that time of month. They know that you might crave chocolate. When they do this, they can become aware of things that might be sensitive to address or question when they are in a relationship.

Last, for the men when it comes to their mothers. They learn that men can do some of the things that women were deemed to be the ones doing it. For instance, you can teach them to help their future wives out with the dishes and the laundry. So many times, men are given the wrong idea about the roles that society says one should do over the other. These are the things you love from your mother.
