San Diego will play host to two of its most popular events in January. One is Poway Gymnastics and the other is the San Diego Restaurant Week. Both events attract different target audiences. If you are planning a vacation in San Diego in the last week of January, then this is the time to dine and watch the spectacular gymnastics competition. Lets discuss in detail about these two events.

Poway Gymnastics

Are you fond of gymnastics? Do not miss the upcoming Poway Gymnastics Classic 2011 competition from 28th to 30th January, 2011. The competition will take place at the Town and Country Resort and Convention Center in Mission Valley, San Diego. More than 180 restaurants from all of the San Diego city will participate in the event. Whatever type of cuisine you like, the San Diego Restaurant Week has something for everyone. No wonder the San Diego Restaurant Week is considered to be the largest and most successful dining event in the San Diego city. Whether you enjoy dining at bar-restaurants of Gaslamp Quarter or you like dining at elegant restaurants with a view of the sea in Little Italy, you can have your heart's fill of great food at affordable prices.

The best part of the San Diego Restaurant Week is that you can dine at any of the restaurants you fancy or revisit the old ones. You can choose to visit various restaurants in different locations such as Old Town, Coronado, Gaslamp Quarter, La Jolla, Little Italy, Carlsbad, Del Mar, Point Loma and many more.

You don't need any tickets or passes for the Restaurant Week. But it is preferable to make advance reservations by contacting the restaurants directly. And make sure that you stay in a San Diego hotel which is centrally located, from where Gaslamp Quarter, Old Town, Little Italy and other venues are nearby so that you can dine out at various restaurants in different locations easily.
