There are many people out there who love to go to the zoo. What is there not to love? The animals are so care free and they are fun to watch and learn about. So, what are some of those zoos around the United States that some people say are the best?

One of the first ones on our list is the Columbus Zoo. You can find it in Columbus, Ohio. This zoo opened in the year 1927. You might know it for it's work with Jack Hanna. Here you will find over seven thousand animals that both children and adults love to visit each year. You will see why if you visit here. In recent years, they have added a water park, an amusement park, as well as an area to play golf.

Another zoo that many say you should go to visit would be the San Diego Zoo. This is the type of zoo that makes sure that the animals are well cared for as well as making sure that home is most like home to them. They find that this zoo keeps up with the times and are usually the first to get things. Many enjoy the four thousand animals that are on exhibit here.

Phoenix, Arizona has a nice to visit as well. This is a non profit zoo which is extremely different than other zoos around the United States. It's a hundred and twenty five acres of viewing some of the most different animals and exhibits than most other zoos. Others like the fact that you can bike around here as well as roller blade so that you can get your work out and see some amazing animals as well.

Texas is known for their zoos. One of the leading zoos is in Fort Worth, Texas. This was founded in 1909. It's been praised for it's greatness in keeping animals and more in quite a few of the more well known newspapers. The other zoo in Texas is found in Houston. With this zoo, you can actually get yourself booked for a private tour. With this tour, you can see how they do things behind the scenes and more.

Last of all, the last zoo that many say that you have to see is the Audobon Zoo in Louisiana. What many like about this is that it's old and new mixed together. With the architecture, you can see some of the history behind the zoo. They have recently done some renovations at this zoo to bring some of the modern conveniences and so forth to the zoo. They also have an aquarium as well as many lovely animals like the white tigers and white alligators.

If you are in these areas, then you might want to put these zoos on the itinerary. Many have done so and they have loved what has come about. It's fun for everyone we assure you of that. It's something that you just don't want to pass up if you travel this summer.
