There are many people who belong to a church due to the account that they were raised in a church. Yet, there are many who leave that same church for many things that are out of their control and one wonders if it's a man made thing or a religious belief. What are some of those men made things that people leave for?

One of the things that they find people leaving for is the issue that baptism comes into play. There are some who say you have to be submerged. There are others that say you have to be sprinkled with water. Then there is the issue of the age at which you get baptized. For some they say you have to baptized as a child while others allow you to choose when you get baptized.

Many others will leave due to the political beliefs. There are some who are pro choice when it comes to the abortion issue and for some this is a problem. There are some who believe in the death penalty and they don't agree with this. These are other reasons that some leave.

Many leave over some of the things that have to do with communion. There are some who say that we should have communion every day, but on the flip side, there are people who say that it's crazy. You view it then more as an act and not a symbol as it is to represent. When you have this in mind, many want something that is religious not just something that they do all the time. Others don't like that they serve grape juice or vice versa where they serve wine. Believe it or not, they do leave over this.

There are some that have issues with political things. There are so many people who are unhappy with the way things go in the church and so forth. They have people arguing among one another. There are people who feel they are in charge of the church or that they should be. All of these things are normally things or rules that people have made and have nothing to do with religious beliefs. Therefore, people get sick of all of the drama.

What it really comes down to is that there are many people who feel that they are in the bind. Those traditional churches are usually those churches where grandma and grandpa were married there, mom and dad were married there, you were married there, your kids are baptized there and so forth. It's a family tradition. Many find it very hard and wish that they were never in that predicament as they are forced to choose which church they should go with. Often times, they leave and it's a very hard thing to do. In many cases, there might be rift in the family as one chooses to leave. Yet, there are many who stick it out. This is what things have come down to.
