The subject of extraterrestrial existence has been an interesting, exciting and controversial topic of discussion. This case came to the attention of the public with the occurrence of the famous Roswell incident. Almost everyone knows about this alleged event and the controversy as to whether there is convincing UFO evidence has continued for over 50 years. The story has it that the U.S. government captured a saucer-shaped 'spaceship' along with alien life forms on a government in Roswell, New Mexico. The knowledge of this incident leaked out, resulting in fear and curiosity nationwide with common questions being ask, "Do UFO really exist? If so where are they? And where do they come from?" Many took this as proof of UFO evidence and for many years reporters and investigative journalists have followed the Roswell incident. Many also believe the government has been resolute effort to squash any information that might fuel controversy and curiosity of millions of people in the US and the world at large. Credible sources such as The Discovery Channel, PBS and other television programs such as the 'Paranormal' series, have done stories which seeks to unravel the mystery surrounding the events, leaving it to the viewers to concluded whether this is legitimate UFO evidence, or just another overblown, controversial story with no real foundation. Hollywood movie producers such as Steven Spielberg decided to pick up and put the pieces together with the premier of the 1982 classic movie, 'E.T.', which portrays a lovable alien who got stranded on earth. Some believe the Roswell incident does provide UFO evidence that the government used certain Hollywood productions to deter the truth and convey a fictional sci-fi fantasy story with a happy ending allowing some to assume that Roswell does not constitute UFO evidence, and the E.T. fantasy movie is a closer as we will ever get to the truth. However despite the popularity of the Roswell story, many individuals have claimed to have seen UFOs, especially in remote locations, such as Arizona, New Mexico and the Nevada desert. With the advancement of technology and the inventions of electronic devices such as digital cameras and camcorders home video recording have become very popular resulting in hundreds of home videos, showing saucer shaped objects in the sky, common attributes of these UFOs is their ability to hover in a stand still position, and then suddenly in the blink of an eye, attains lighting like speeds and disappear faster than any ordinary aircraft. Government agencies and critics alike have concluded sightings to be nothing more than video editing tricks and aberrations caused by weather conditions such as lighting. While there is truth that some home videos are hoaxes, some have pass thorough examination from video experts. So what are your thoughts on the matter? Is the body UFO evidence the result of a government cover up or just weather tricks, so the question is asked, "Do UFOs really exist?" However this is a subject we can expect not to get a definite answer for soon.
