Everybody loves to eat, and you have your favourite foods all the time when you are eating. But then, in eating with so much passion would somehow lead to unhealthy eating habits. Did you ever think for minute that you have formed some eating habits that can affect your health? You never really gave it much thought because you have been so consumed with just satisfying your eating cravings. Just what are these bad eating habits that you have gotten used to? Take a long pause and think about the following. 1. Gulping all your favourite drinks. Be it all kinds of soda, coffee, cream, sugar and what ever else you pour into your favourite drinks you just take in vigorously. Of, course you love soda, all kinds in fact, it goes with almost anything you eat. Taking it is just like drinking water for you. 2. Easy on the salt. Of course, you can't do away with chips and fries but you have to if you want your health to be spared of the bad effects of too much salts in your body. 3. Fast foods. You just don't have too much time to cook so you order takeouts/deliveries from your favourite outlet. You order pizza, burgers and everything else you fancy to eat. You also alternate with TV dinners, frozen and just popped into the microwave for convenience. 4. Too many sweets you gulp into one seating especially during TV time. You like candies, pastries, muffins, ice cream and other similar sweets. This is really a bad habit that you must learn to avoid because you may be affecting your sugar levels, cause unwanted teeth decay and create future health problems for you. You may wonder why 'junk food' is called that. Well, for health buffs and health dieticians, junk food is considered unhealthy because these don't give the proper nutrients to your body. These add more unwanted calories thereby adding more to unwanted weight. All these would lead to unhealthy effects to you such as obesity, heart condition, diabetes and some other medical conditions that may crop up in the later time. Learning how to avoid these unhealthy eating habits would be an advantage for you. Doing it early as now would help keep your health safe. Switching to a more healthy life style and eating habits would be the right path towards a healthier life for you.
