Why we Are Here and What we Are Doing in This World?BY: Anisa Author | Category: Issues | Submitted: 2010-06-23 03:49:45
I prefer to spend sometime with myself daily. Whenever I sit alone I ask myself "why we are here and what we are doing in this world?" Let's find an answer together! When I look to this world I got afraid as I can't find an end. We wake up daily, perform the routine tasks, got tired, sleep and wake up the next morning doing the same things. This gives me a feeling of being a robot machine. We are becoming like the horse who run on the streets and roads and whose view is restricted to the front so that he can't see the sides as it is believed that otherwise the horse might get confused and disturbed by the nearby cars and this may cause an accident. Well from this story I find a clue. If the horse starts looking to the sides, an accident may happen, so when we - the humans start looking around an accident might happen as well. And this is the time when we discover a new thing. The only difference between the accidents is that the horse might hit a car whereas we might find a new beginning and a new reality. Our accident is far too exciting than that of a horse! This is one thing which I think while talking to myself. Another aspect which pinches me a lot is the question that what are we doing in this world and what is the end? We all are here to die. Whatever we do, whatever we earn, whichever position we acquire during our lives, all will remain here and we can't take a single thing with us when we die. We will be buried deep down the earth empty-handed so what's the point in being in this world. Of course whatever we earn will be of use to our kids and whatever our kids will earn will be of use to their kids but still the question remains the same. I think we can't be sent to this earth to do the stupid stuff we do daily without any end. The cycle goes on and on. So what's the purpose behind our lives, why we are sent to this earth? I have visited several forums where this question is discussed but I find a heap of unsatisfactory answers, some says we are here to enjoy our lives and have fun and some says we are here to reproduce life so that the cycle can go on. Still some says that they don't know and even don't want to think about it, they are here and are living as everyone else, that's it. All these answers are a bit frustrating and my quest for the truth is still unanswered. While talking to myself, I sometimes feel that I don't belong to this world. I am here for some purpose - a purpose unidentified and unexplained. It may be there in the bible or any other book but I just can't interpret it and don't know how to get there. But still I have a feeling that there must be something superior to what we are doing on daily basis and when we will achieve that we will be sent to where we belong to. Well I have read it somewhere that it is the "self-enlightenment and self-recognition" for which we are sent to this earth. We - the humans, have extreme powers and when utilized properly, the energy will get back to us in the form of answers to all our questions. It will give us deep happiness, a happiness that nobody can steal. The access to divine and the answer to who we are is the purpose of our lives. But when I get frustrated finding the answers to my irritating (as it really irritates me when I can't find a way out) questions, the negativity take control and I became angry with my inner self. I don't know who sits inside me, listening and replying to my voice. But I am sure that there is somebody who keeps on telling me to stay calm and be positive. I think this is how I will get the answers of all my questions - by being positive and hopeful.
